It did present some interesting ideas about the future of innovation and how companies will be organized in the future. I see companies moving that way, but I don't think that all of them will or can. I think he rambled on a little too long.
The concluding chapter wasn't all that bad, and I think it expressed his main points pretty well. That chapter could have been the whole book and you wouldn't miss much.
However, the other chapters did h It did present some interesting ideas about the future of innovation and how companies will be organized in the future. However, the other chapters did have nice examples that illustrated his points and were entertaining at times. The authors fall into the typical bias of bringing up examples that support their views while ignoring those that don't. There are plenty examples of times when outsourcing has failed and companies have pulled back to their local origins.
